A Cozy Prayer
God of delicious delicacies,
Share this time of food and friendship with me.
Guide my hands as I prepare these treats,
As I make my way around my kitchen.
I’m grateful for this time,
That I can use it to make food to share.
I’m thankful for my kitchen,
Where recipes are written, and rewritten,
Where coffee flows, and conversation is ignited,
Where laughter fills the whole room, and tears are wiped away.
